Creating greater understanding of complex, rare and traumatic medical conditions

Gillette Children’s Healthcare Press was established in March 2020, right before the pandemic, to coincide with the publication of Spastic Diplegia–Bilateral Cerebral Palsy. In June 2021, Pure Grit: Stories of Remarkable People Living with Physical Disability was published. It's Okay to Ask is an earlier publication.

Spastic Diplegia–Bilateral Cerebral Palsy is a new style of book that provides a deep explanation of how a condition develops over the lifespan and the evidence-based, best-practice treatments, interwoven with the lived experience. The international reaction to this book among both families and professionals, has been very positive. Over the next three years the Press will publish further books on conditions treated at Gillette Children's.
